Collaborative Installation memorializing Iraqi dead as a result of the US war on Iraq. With Annamarta Dostourian and Richie Pattison. A part of SomArts annual Dia de los Muertos exhibition. Transparencies and Projections, and Photographs of the installation by Laura DuBois.

2004 Open Heart Surgery Oakland Box Theater Gallery. Collaborative mixed media show with Andrew Juris and Annamarta Dostourian. Paintings and Projections.

2001-2002 Multimedia Sound Temple with Russill Paul. Oakland Box Theater. A series of four events focusing on aspects of Russill Paul’s the Yoga of Sound. I created custom video projections and slide dissolves reflecting the theme of each event.

2001 Shakti Awakenings Black Box Gallery, Oakland CA. Photographs of shrines to the goddess in nature, India and Nepal. With large scale paintings by Jennifer Jones.

2000-2004 Co-founder/Director Oakland Box Theater, Oakland CA. Started out as the Black Box. Became Oakland Box Theater in summer 2003. Incorporated as a 501(C-3) November 2003. In November 2004, the organization lost its space due to an inability to raise enough funds for code compliance work required by the City of Oakland. It is now homeless, and is currently a fiscal sponsor for Oakland’s arts community.

Oakland Box Theater hosted a broad spectrum of events ranging from avant guard jazz shows to hip hop, rock’n’roll, folk, spoken word to sacred events honoring yearly seasonal cycles, to theater. Performers ranged from Aya de Leon, Profits of Rage, OMaya, Fred Frith, Tim Barsky, Sherry Glaser, Ledisi, Goapele, Jenna Mamina, Alix Olson, Moe! Sataiano, Carlos Mena, Russill Paul, Felonious, and more. Organizations who presented events ranged from Youth Speaks, Oakland Poetry Slam, Health thru Art, NatYa Dance Company, Magical Acts Ritual Theater, Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, the Lysistrata Project and more.

1999-2001 Visual Director Techno Cosmic Mass. Sweets Ballroom, Oakland CA. A monthly
multicultural, multimedia celebration led by radical theologian Matthew Fox. I created unique slide and video projections to compliment the theme of each event.

1998 Traveling on Threads of Memory to the Heart of the Web. University of Creation Spirituality/ Naropa Oakland. Hand painted traditional Celtic and Islamic mandalas. Gouache on paper. And a 50-page masters thesis on the subject.

1994-1997 Multi-Image slide dissolve shows for local bands and Dance Jam. Berkeley CA

1989-1994 Agit-Prop around San Francisco. Photocopies on billboards.
